What a great view!! From Lucerne, you can take bus no. 1 to Kriens and get out at Lindenplatz. After walking about 5 minutes in the direction of the mountains and on the way indicated, you can take a cable car, and in 30 minutes, you will be at the top. To come down, you can make the same way back or go down by cable car to Alpnachstad. Also, you can go up and down by just walking.

I traveled from Lucerne to Engelberg by train and up to Titlis (3,020 metres above the sea level). There was a nice view up to mountain--green is the first colour that comes to our eyes. I had the pleasure of going up in a Rotair car-cable, "the only in the world", a few metros up the glacier. It was the first time that I'd gone inside a glacier and touched the crystal ice. In Titlis, you can find a lot of unforgettable experiences, like rollicking on snow tubes, snowboarding, halfpipe, kicker, rails...
