There is so much to see and do, I could go on forever! Some of the highlights included Kinabalu National Park, Poring Hot Springs, Probiscus Monkey tour, whitewater rafting, and the Borneo Thrillseekers jet boat. The jet boat trip was like nothing I have ever experienced before, and if there was one trip I had to pick above all others for an adrenaline rush, it would be the combo trip of jet boating and rafting! Fantastic!
Quick Tips:
Don't miss eting at the outdoor restaurants and hawker stalls. They might not be as hygenic as Western restaurants, but the food is fabulous! Visit the Borneo Info Centre in Wisma Sabah centre opposite Wisma Merdeka shopping mall. Taxis are cheap, and there is also a long-distance bus terminal in town. Most of the tour operators will collect you from your hotel when going on organised trips.
