This was our first time staying off the Strip. The Embassy Suites was a lot cheaper than the hotels on the Strip, plus you get the cocktail hour and cooked-to-order breakfast each day. We had a room on the third floor with a view of the parking lot. The room has a separate living room and bedroom, but there is no door separating the two rooms. We usually eat at Bahama Breeze every time we go. I love the Bahamaritas, a slushy margarita with three different flavors. The food has always been excellent. I had a Cuban chicken sandwich. My girlfriends had the salmon pasta and the jerk-chicken pasta. For a starter, we all split an order of Cuban bread bruschetta. They usually have a live calypso band on the weekends, but there was none the Friday night we went.

The line moves fairly quickly. Inside, it is dark where the tables and couches are, but the dance floor is well lit with ever-changing lighting effects. I didn't bother finding a table and headed straight to the dance floor. There was a wide variety of music from techno, to ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s tunes, and rap. I never left the dance floor. We met a group of NYC policemen out for the weekend, and they were lots of fun. The club features aerial acrobats, go-go dancers (both men and women) with bodies to die f...Read More
