Kauai Poipu

We stayed in a one-bedroom (California king)--everything but the front door was on the water, and the condo was located at Kuhio Shores 209, corner unit, with floor-to-ceiling windows wrapped around the living room overlooking the bay and mountains to the east and the Pacific to the south, with a surfing break off to the west. Fabulous views overlooking the beach park, priced right (for Hawaii)! The best is to go at 4pm and enjoy a pupu platter and the winding up of the afternoon scene of the beach, but evenings are cool too and crowded, so get a reservation!
