Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Beautiful hotel with great service. Overlooking the canal, the Amstel is in a great location. It''s easy to jump on the near-by tram and get all over Amsterdam. Price of a room is high but very worth the expense.

Pancake BakeryBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Pancake House"

Typical Dutch pancakes. Very good, not too expensive. A nice place to go before or after a trip to the Anne Frank House. Be careful of opening times. When I went they did not take credit cards.

Kantjil en de TijgerBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Kantijl en de Tiger"

A wonderful Indonesian restaurant, fairly new. It is very hip and always crowded. The service is good and caters to both locals and tourists. Nice after a long day of shopping.

KeukenhofBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

This is one of the most spectacular sights in the world (if you like flowers, color and beauty). Breathtaking is too light of a word. It is like seeing a living canvas. May is THE time to go. Make sure you drive around the surrounding areas and see the fields among fields. If you are staying in Amsterdam there are plenty of tours to see the fields and the auction. Don't forget your camera. You won't even believe your own photos could be so beautiful.
