Minneapolis, MN

A December 2000 trip to Minneapolis by mrosciolo

Quote: Minneapolis is a pleasant city that resides in the land of 10,000 lakes. Be sure to visit during the summer monthes, because the weather is quite bitter and cold during the winter months(wind chills can drive the temperature to 30-50 below zero).

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

If you stay in the City during the winter months, make sure to use the skywalk to get around the city. You can pretty much roam around the city without ever stepping foot outside in the cold.

Marriott Minneapolis City Center Best of IgoUgo

Marriott Hotels never let me down and the Marriott City Center is one of the best that I''ve had the pleasure to stay in. Located in the center of Minneapolis, most night spots and restaurants are within a 5 block radius. Vikings Stadium is a stone''s throw, if you want to see a Vikings game. And the Target Center is right next door, if you want to take in a Timberwolves game. Service is stupendous and the accommodations are clean and spacious.

You will be immediately at ease with the level of service and your taste buds will be tempted by the wide array of fresh seafood dishes that are available. Everything from Fish and Chips to Lobster Thermodore is waiting to satisfy the most discriminating of tastes.
