For GOOD pizza........

In or around Detroit's Greektown, there is this pizza joint you just gotta go to......

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Follow the signs to Greektown. There's parking garages all around and you can walk from there. Yeah, it's safe - just don't have a bunch of Grants hanging out of your pockets. Really, like in any city, there's always someone panhandling, but it's really safe - lots of police in this popular area.

Restaurant | "Pizza Papolis"

For some of the best pizza around, Pizza Papolis is the place. They serve the Chicago deep-dish pizza that rivals the original (and, yes, I HAVE had the original). The restaurant is a multi-level building with a little different level of noise on each. The bar, being on the first floor, makes for a loud dining experience, however, the upper levels are a bit more cozy. Expect large waits on warm summer weekends (we've waited 45 minutes to 90 minutes at times) but winter seems to reduce waits to a minimum. But no mater what the wait, it is well worth it.
