November Trip to Disney World

Overview

Animal Kingdom Photo, Orlando, Florida

At any of the four parks, catch all the shows you can fit into your vacation. They are all GREAT! Try to catch the parades. Each of the four parks has its own unique parade, and the parades done at night with the lights are extremely spectacular. Also, all four parks put on a fireworks show at the end of the day that should not be missed. Call ahead and find out when these times and days are so you can schedule your trip around them. They are that good.Quick Tips: If you stay at a resort inside Disney World, you will be allowed inside one different Disney park per day, 1 hour early, before the gates even open to the rest of the public.Best Way To Get Around: The best way to get from ...Read More

Coronado Springs Resort was a great place to stay. It was set up like a village around a lake. The pool area was great, really large with a Jacuzzi. The pool had a waterslide, and even though it was November, it was still warm enough to swim. At night, the sidewalks that led around the rooms and to the pool were all lit up with outdoor lights, and it was so pleasant just to walk around the resort. The lobby was huge and had a huge Christmas tree, and the lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Everyone there was extremely helpful and nice. And every time you would call the front desk for something, they would say to have a magical day. The room was great, too. Right outside the rooms, you co...Read More

This is an excellent place to eat. The food and service was wonderful. The food was presented very nicely as well. If you are staying at the Coronado Springs Resort at Disney World, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. I picked this restaurant out for my 7-year-old's birthday dinner. Of course, when I made the reservations, I let them know that it was his birthday. I could not have picked a better place. You do not order off a menu or anything. Everyone is served the same thing. It is ham and mashed potatoes, rolls, green beans, and I forget what else, but there is a lot of food. It is all served family style. The food is so good. And it is so comforting to get that kind of dinner in an amusement park. The Disney characters are there. They spent so much time at our table with my 7-year-old since it was his birthday, playing with him and posing for pictures. All th...Read More

Animal Kingdom is a great addition to Disney World. You have the rides and the parade with all the loved Disney characters. But then, on the other hand, you have real wild animals that you can take a safari ride through, animals in their natural habitat. You forget you are at an amusement park entirely. It is unbelievable how Disney can make you totally forget for a few minutes that you are in the middle of the largest theme park in the world. You actually are in a safari jeep and get to see amazing animals really close up. Plus you have great rides, cool places to eat, toys, Disney souvenirs, parades, and shows. We saw the "Lion King" show, and it was just amazing, with great acrobatics. We all loved...Read More

What can I say, come on, it's Disney World, the happiest place on Earth. And it truly is. Everyone who works at the park is really helpful, smiles a lot, and seems as if they actually want to be there. The atmosphere, the music, the colors, the food, and the rides: I don't know, but something strange happens to you when you step through the gates. It is almost as if you have entered a time capsule that takes you back to when you were a child. And if you have children with you, it just happens that much quicker. You laugh and scream, and you skip down the streets - and I did not even know I knew how to skip any more. You find yourself running to get the best spots for the parade, and when they come by,...Read More

Epcot Center is great. It is a very educational park that is a lot of fun as well. There are multiple countries where you can sample their wares or ways of cooking. It is set up so beautifully, to resemble the actual place that was being copied. They have street performers out in the streets and really neat items for sale. Their newest rides are Mission Space and Test Tract. Both rides are great, and they feel very real. Just like Disney has done in the past, they strive hard to make your experience as close to the real thing as they can get, and they do a great job of it. You must definitely hit these new two rides if you are headed to Epcot Center.

MGM Studios is a lot of fun. You should not go to Disney World and miss this one. There are great rides, such as Rockin Roller Coaster, Twilight Zone, and the Tower of Terror, plus they have the parades and the fireworks. They have a lot geared toward children of younger ages as well. It is definitely a lot of fun, and you can easily spend an entire day in this park.

This place is amazing. It is like one huge, four-story game room. You pay one price and can play most of the games inside with that card as many times as you would like. They have some really cool reality 3-D rides. There is one ride where you actually design your own roller coaster, then they load the design into this machine, and you get in and virtually ride it. The machine really spins around and upside down and everything. It feels like you are really on a roller coaster. It is the coolest. Besides the kids, me and my husband had so much fun in here that it was just crazy. It was great.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park

Attraction | "Typhoon Lagoon"

Quote:
Typhoon Lagoon was a lot of fun. There are plenty of moderate rides, some that are a little faster than others; a wave pool; and a long lazy river that propels you along slowly along their lazy river. Not only do they have a large pool there, but this is wave pool. It’s just like being at the beach. There is plenty to do here to keep you and your young ones busy. You can have a lot of fun here for a very long time. And the kids just LOVE it.

There are some things that you just should not miss at the Disney World parks. Here are a few of my favorites. Let’s start at Epcot. Epcot has never been much on the ride circuit, but that has all changed with Test Track and Mission Space. These are probably two of the best rides in the entire Disney World park. Do not miss them. Also, just traveling through the different countries represented in Epcot is great. The Mexican restaurant is great, as is the one in Japan. They are my absolute favorites. MGM Studios’ great thrill rides are the Rockin Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror. On the Tower of Terror, they use a different drop sequence each time, which means that you never know how m...Read More
