Flamenco-What a Dance!

Madrid is so easy to get around even if you do not speak Spanish; everyone is helpful and kind. Start on a Sunday in El Retiro and walk the gardens. Then, enjoy the Prado, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza,and Museu Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia. All have so much to offer that you will have trouble seeing it all. Enjoy dining late in the evening trying local specialities. If you have never seen flamenco, try the Corral de la Moreria for an entertaining evening. Visit the Royal Palace of Madrid, and walk the Plaza Mayor.

Take the Metro everywhere and walk everywhere else. Madrid is easy to get around and easy to find your way.

Take a taxi only if you have to; the prices vary and it can be expensive.

The rooms were nothing special, but the location was convenient to the metro and many places to walk to for eating and shopping. The Big Blue restaurant is nothing special, so you should go out to enjoy the real Madrid. There are nicer hotels with more ambiance, but the hotel is nothing to complain about...

While enjoying homemade sangria and courses and courses of local specialities, one cannot help but get caught up in the Flamenco dancing. Of course, you only watch the dancers, but all performances are excellent and you cannot believe how they dance and dance and dance. The food is very tasty and a lot or almost too much. If you don't try this Flamenco house, try another because you will not want to miss this experience while in Madrid. You will be dancing all night.
