One of my three favorite destinations is southern Maine, Ogunquit and York to be precise. On this trip, the weather was rainy but did not stop us from enjoying our time.

Story/Tip

Nubble Light
Well, the smell of the ocean air and the power or calming effect of the ocean can be quite intoxicating. As I mentioned, the weather was terrible, but the beauty still remained.

If you just like to walk or browse shops, Oqunquit and York, Maine, is for you. From tacky to cultured shops, it's all there. A favorite amongst many is Perkins Cove and the Marginal Way.

The Marginal way a is 1.5-mile walk along a very picturesque bluff. Take a drive from Perkins cove along Shoreline Drive and see some magnificent houses; you'll end up in York Beach, where the famous Nubble Light House is.
