Family Fun in Bushkill

Best Things Nearby:
Guided tour to NYC for additional $175 for 2 adults, 1 child - tour take Staten Island ferry into city right by Statue of Liberty. Claw's & Paw's park animals are awake and active, kids get to feed a giraffe. Bushkill falls, nature at it's peak, we even got to see a bear in the wild. Crayola Factory 1 hr away in Easton good for young kids. Steamtown in Scraton about 45 min out good for history buffs.

Resort Experience:
After reading prior reviews called the resort to ask if for new section not just remodeled section. I was assured all RCI members were automatically in new section. When we actually arrived, we were definitely not in the new section, you could see the visible differences between the 2 sections. Fireplace did not work, roly poly bugs, old carpet, peeling paint etc.. Still we stayed put rather than making a big issue, unit overall was marginally OK. Staff did provide brand new blender with a single call and we did not have any noise issues with other units. However front desk was not very helpful and the fire alarms while they definitely worked went off 3 times for our block of units, due to sensitivity.

We went here specifically due to other reviews but did not have a good experience. We arrived at 5pm on a weeknight, and the place was relatively empty. We were seated right below the toy-train interchange, which was great, since we had two small children with us, but we had to ask three times to have the train turned on.

The wait staff, while nice, was slow, and we actually had to go looking for them at one point. The food was okay, nothing to rave about, but not bad. Dessert was yummy, however.

It was great. The food was very tasty. My husband had the surf and turf, I had grilled halibut, and my child had the appetizer of king crab legs. Our waiter was helpful and attentive. The decor was pleasing, and the only negative was that we were seated beside a large party that got a little loud. They had a good salad bar. They even had Killian's Red in the obviously Yuengling country.
