Located directly on the beach on Hollywood Boardwalk - a perfect location to sit and watch the world go by (if only the units had a balcony).

Quick Tips:

If the beach is what you are after, and you don't mind the accommodations, then this is for you. If you like your home-from-home comfort, then give this one a miss. Very tired and old accommodation with no balcony area. Small pool at front of building with a hot tub situated in a newer block at rear of building (not beachside).

Best Way To Get Around:

We took a taxi from Miami to the accommodation. If the weather is nice, then a car is not necessary, as it is a nice walk along the boardwalk and there are regular buses to neighbouring areas.

Situated on the beach with boardwalk in front of units. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Resort Experience:
Tired and old units on the beachfront with a small pool and tables and chairs for lounging. Units do not have a balcony or anywhere to sit and watch the world go by other than inside the unit itself. Our unit (which we were told was "the best in the house" was on the ground floor - other guests were constantly in front of our windows resulting in us having to keep the blinds drawn which made the apartment very dark. Furnishings were simple and aged.

Best Things Nearby:
As part of the Hilton Grand Vacations Club, guests at the Surf Club are able to use the amenities of the Hilton Hotel situated next door. Lots of restaurants and shops located within a short walk.

Best Things About the Resort:
Everything - located directly on a long white sand beach, impeccably furnished, friendly staff, nice pool area with hot tub.

Resort Experience:
Located directly on a gently shelving white sandy beach encrusted with shells, this is a haven of pure delight. We sat on the beach watching dolphins playing in the sea with the sun setting - pure heaven. Many owners here return year after year, and I can understand why. We would definitely return to this resort, and its status as a Resort of International Distinction should really be Gold Crown in my opinion.
