While Gutenberg changed the world, the museum is a solemn tribute to printing.
Make sure you know something about printing and book publishing before visiting this museum. Or contact me for an orientation, since I work for the largest printing-press manufacturer in the world.
This is definitely a museum of a very serious nature, so it might be boring for children, unless there are special activities scheduled, like paper-making, etc. These may be available only to school groups.
Unfortunately, much of the museum descriptions and information is only in German. The staff is quite helpful with the English translations.
