This is a challenging climb - but it's worth it when you get to the top! The wooden ladders are in fairly good condition & there are handrails - but it does get a bit congested. The other name for this temple is "Temple of the Double Headed Serpent" & as it faces east, it's a good spot to watch the sun rise. It is the tallest surviving Mayan temple at 212 ft & the views of the site & also bird sightings in the tree tops are great from the top.
