Our stay at the resort was such a wonderful surprise. All was new, grounds were beautiful, and the staff was so nice. We went with friends, so we had two side-by-side units, and each had their privacy, which was so nice. Our friends enjoyed Branson shows, as at the last minute, we could not. Hubby took ill with bad leg pains, and off we went to a walk-in clinic who referred him onto the hospital there, as they feared blood clots, but it was not, and after 2 days in the hospital, it was gout!
So all we really know of Branson was what our friends told us. BUT if one had to be ill and could not walk, then the resort was as comfortable as home. Before hubby took ill, we got to one show--the '50s at the Hop--and it was so nice. Guess we will have to get out there again in the future.
But for all who wish to know about the resort, we did spend enough time in it to say, definitely book it! Close to all, but not in the midst of the "main drag traffic". There are VCR rentals (thank goodness), and although we did not see Branson shows, we were most content at this beautiful Gold Crown resort.
