The park is nestled in the mountains; it's built to look like living in the Smokys. One section is shops and craftsmen; another section is dedicated to Dolly's life; there is an area with rides for children and adults; several pavillions with performers and restaurants; and food booths along the way. Terry Clark put on a very energetic concert. She kept the audience alive; between songs, she told little stories about her and her past performances. We had a great time and would definitely attend another concert if she were in our area.

It was a guided tour with a guide pointing out all the interesting facts of the Smokey Mountains: the area where the Appalachian trail passes through, where you can stand on one side and be in Tennessee and the other side of the sign and be across the state line. He told us what wildlife and trees are found in the Smoky Mountains.
