When I was at this Holiday Inn in 2003, it had just been recently redone. The outside looks like your classic Holiday Inn. It's done in browns, deep oranges, and maybe a touch of gray. The lobby is a tad small but very cozy. It feels like a beach house when you step in.
There is light brown leather furniture to flop down into and marble accents throughout the room. My only complaint about the rooms is that they are oddly configured. You get a bed, TV cabinet, sofa, coffee table… you know, the usual. The bathroom is stunning, though. There is a Jacuzzi tub and marble sinks, and it is quite spacious.
They have a delightful complimentary breakfast every morning. It is peaceful and quaint. The pool is outdoors. It isn't anything special, and it isn't horrible, either. Overall, if you are looking for a budget-friendly hotel that still has some of the comforts of home, you should stay at the Holiday Inn - Woodland Hills.
