Bermuda has long been known for beautiful pink beaches, sunsets and pink cottages! Now comes a new way to stay and enjoy -- Camping -- and family/luxury style. Read all about how Daniel's Head Village may be a solution for excellent accomodations on your next trip.

Daniel's Head Village sits on a remote northwest peninsula lined by over 10 private beaches. The resort hotel features 100 soft-sided canvas-like acrylic tents that have been pitched on top of raised platforms and outfitted with hotel style bedding. You'll feel like you are on safari with Abercrombie and Kent in the middle of the Atlantic! The rooms of the tents feature hot-water bathrooms and ceiling fans (a first for camping for me). Many of the tents have ocean views but the key is to reserve early.

Quick Tips:

Reserve early and request a tent that is on stilts over the sea (awesome seathru floor!)

Best Way To Get Around:

We recommend the bus on the island for families, but couples who play it safely may enjoy mopeds.

Daniel's Head Village

This is an awesome way to see Bermuda for the return and adventurous visitor! The windows in the floor of the tents on stilts offer great birdseye views of the water beneath and excite the whole family. The entire family can enjoy an extensive family oriented program of activities many oriented just for kids. There are fishing trips, treasure hunts, and snorkeling. The unique "Kumbaya" marshmellow roasting experience on the beach is great fun too!
