Beautiful Boca

A travel journal to Boca Raton by Columbus

Traveling on the Florida East Coast we like to stop at this beautiful city. A Disney -like metropolis, with well manicured landscape, modern shopping areas and plenty of attractions make Boca an ideal place to visit either for relaxation, bussiness or just for sightseing.

Overview

When we go to Boca we usually stay a couple of days, but Boca is interesting enough as to make it your week-long vacation. Mornings at the beach, afternoons visiting the museums, and evenings attending one of the many activities offered, visiting any of the Art exhibits or galleries or just shopping at Mizner Park or Town Center will keep you busy and entertained. For the golf enthusiasts any of the great golf courses in town would be number one in your list of things to do while visiting Boca.

Quick Tips:

Legal Sea FoodsBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "Legal Seafood"

Excellent fish restaurant located in beautiful Town Center Mall. Has a long wait as no reservations are accepted, but it is worth the inconvenience. Tuna and salmon are done to perfection. Clam chowder is a house specialty as are the desserts, all prepared on the premises; in particular the applecrisp and Boston Cream Pie are delicious.

Attraction | "Town Center Mall"

This Mall is one of the largest and most modern I remember ever seeing. With more than 185 stores, it has been recently renovated to accommodate new dinning facilities and beautiful indoor gardens. Burdines, Lord and Taylor, Sears, Sacks Five Avenue, and Bloomingdales have stores in this Mall. Vallet parking available. Even if you do not have to buy anything, this Mall is worth visiting.
