Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

You'll need a car, and you may just want to consider boating, as this is definitely a watery wonderland.
It was luxurious. There were two swimming pools, excellent dining (by far the best in the Bay), a helpful staff, and a stunning view of Boldt Castle. Visit www.riveredge.com for details and availability.

Attraction

Canoe out to an isolated state park at the tip of one of the thousand islands. Hike, swim, enjoy the view, or camp overnight. The park is only accessible via boat, so you'll feel secluded, like you've discovered your very own island!

Attraction

Explore the island castle that George C. Boldt, the wealthy owner of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, built as a gift for his wife Louise. The scene of the saddest true love story ever told, Louise died just before the castle was finished. The buildings and grounds have been brought back to much of their former brilliance and are now available for tours.
