The Naples Comfort Inn & Marina is a wonderful place for a getaway trip, whether for a quiet interlude or an exciting, fun-filled day. Our purpose was to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so we chose the penthouse.
I can't imagine a better room with more creature comforts for the amazing rate of $250 per night. We entered the room to find a large space with four distinct areas and a large deluxe bathroom. The decor is "Tommy Bahama" and beautifully done. It was immaculately clean and smelled fresh. Two double windows look out onto the bay. Bamboo curtains provide privacy but allow the view to still be seen. There is a four-stool bar and kitchen area with a small fridge and microwave, as well as a sink. Dishes and glassware are provided. A big-screen plasma TV was in the living area, which included a sofa, coffee table, and chair. A DVD player, CD player, and radio were available. The king-sized sleigh bed was dressed with soft cotton sheets, plenty of feather pillows, and a duvet-covered down comforter. Adjacent to the sleeping area is a two-person whirlpool tub that is deep and complete with a dozen adjustable jets. The bathroom is appointed with marble tile and a large shower that has a seating area and multiple wall nozzles that shoot streams of steamy water for your comfort and pleasure.
As if the room itself isn't enough, each night in the outdoor hotel tiki bar, there is live music and happy-hour drink prices. We sat at a tall table watching boaters return after a day on the water, sipping our tropical libations and loving life. It was romantic and peaceful and felt luxurious, too.
The Naples Comfort Inn & Marina is on 5th Avenue, which is an upscale street with any number of restaurants and shopping places. It's a short walk to a fine meal. We have been before and will certainly return.
