Quote: Cherry Orchard Aparthotel is one of the best resorts we have stayed in. The furnishings were all up-to-date and very clean. We had a two-bedroom apartment, the bedrooms were of an ample size, there were twin or double beds, and there was a large lounge and kitchen with plenty of cooking utensils. Within the complex, there was also a good-sized heated swimming pool and a lovely warm Jacuzzi. There was also a sauna, and for the sun-worshippers, a stand-alone tanning cabinet.

The staff at this resort was really helpful, from booking to giving all sorts of tips on where to go and how to get there. As we enjoy walking, we found that most days we walked from the resort on the round island (Seagull Walk) to the north or south. The southern walk gives beautiful views of the Calf of Mann, a local nature reserve. Buses could then be taken to return to Port Erin. Port Erin itself also had many places within the town for shorter walks. Another longer sojourn was into Port St Mary or Castletown to view the highlights.
