The ultimate student adventure: hitchhiking for charity across Europe to the hedonistic capital of sex, drugs, and rock-and-roll.

Walking along the tree-lined canals in the February snow, soaking up the atmosphere in one of the many "coffee" shops, having a quick pint in the Heineken factory, and checking out the Red Light District at night

Quick Tips:

We were lucky enough to see the city in the snow - a truly awesome experience

Best Way To Get Around:

Walking or cycling are by far the best ways to get around the city, although the locals are mean cyclists and take no prisoners, so keep your wits about you!

The Bulldog Coffee Shop, Leidseplein

A lively coffee shop in a great location on the bustling Leidseplein square, well worth a visit, especially when with friends. Close to many other great spots in which to have a quick drink before heading on to one of the clubs.
