Our room was small, with two full-size beds, a small table and chair, and a patio overlooking the parking garage. The room was clean and well-supplied. The maid service was good, we always had clean towels and more toiletries. The downside is the wait for an elevator from the casino level. There always seems to be a long line. The casino itself is a fun place to gamble. The celebrity-impersonator dealers on weekend nights were entertaining. There are several small bars throughout to meet up for drinks.

The breakfast buffet is a good deal and has a wide selection of foods. The dinner buffet, however, was not as impressive. The food selection was good, but the overall quality was not that great. A lot of the food tasted like it had been sitting there awhile.

Red Rock Canyon

We drove out to Red Rock Park one afternoon and spent the day there. It is beautiful, definitely a must-see. Bring your hiking shoes, though, because there are a lot of opportunities for hiking, climbing, and walking on the rocks. Bring lots of water, because it gets very warm! There are a ton of great photo opportunites and great overlooks to stop at as you drive through the park. It is well worth the trip.
