Craft Farms
Best Things Nearby:
Two golf courses are on the property, Cypress and Cotton Creek. Another golf course affiliated with Craft Farms is about 1 mile away, The Woodlands. Additionally, the resort is only 4-5 miles from the beach and is located in the heart of many fine seafood restaurants. For families, there are amusement parks and other attractions just a short drive away.

Best Things About the Resort:
Proximity to golf and other dining and attractions, comfortable accommodations, and good service.

Resort Experience:
The condominiums are located on the property, and all are three bedrooms (at least all of the ones I saw). Each condo includes one master bedroom with a king-size bed, bath, and sitting area, guest room with a queen-size bed, guest room with two twin beds, a bath, full-service kitchen, dinette, dining area, and living room with balcony. All units are furnished nicely, and housekeeping services are available.

The restaurant and golf pro shop and within one mile of the condominiums and are nicely appointed as well. Both the restaurant and pro shop offer excellent service. If you are on a golf package, which we were, a complimentary breakfast is included.

The pricing for one individual to stay in the condominiums with two other friends was approximately $600 to $650, which includes accommodations for five nights, one round of golf for four days, and breakfast for five days. Additional rounds of golf (replay) are available at a very reasonable rate, approximately $45 per round. The pricing is for a large group 15+ golfers. www.craftfarms.com

We enjoy this restaurant so much that we always return each time we travel to Gulf Shores, Alabama. Your selection, of course, must be seafood, or why bother. The portions are generous and very tasty. I have tried many of the dishes, and they are all great. My favorites are the fresh oysters, anything that is blackened, bread pudding, and key lime pie.
