Las Vegas' premier antique and collectibles mall, the Antique Sampler Shoppes, recently lost its lease. The Antique Mall of America, http://antiquemallofamerica.net, was recently opened by its former management.

Antique Mall of America

Here is information concerning the Antiques Mall of America in Las Vegas, whose website is found at http://antiquemallofamerica.net.

I am suggesting this because this Las Vegas attraction is different than the average tourist stop and a good diversion to being "trapped" at the Strip casinos.

This is a newly opened antique mall on the southern end of the Las Vegas strip. Outside there is a stunning hand-painted 100-foot-tall and 23-foot-wide mural of the Las Vegas skyline. Inside is an eclectic mix of antiques, collectibles, home decor items, and accessories from over 70 different dealers that covers over 23,000 square feet of space. It is very convenient to major Las Vegas casinos and located about 4 miles south of the Mandalay Bay resort.

This antique mall is one of the largest in Nevada. It has ample parking and is wheelchair-accessible. The management and most of the staff formerly worked for the Sampler Shoppes of Las Vegas, which lost its lease in January 2005 but always was highly rated in annual Las Vegas Review Journal "Best of Las Vegas" ratings.
