As I walked across the Seine towards the Louvre from the Left Bank, I spotted the Eiffel Tower for the very first time. That's when I knew I was in Paris. And the City of Lights never disappointed. The weather in early June was exceptional, and everything was lush and green. But, save for my visits to the Jardin du Luxembourg, I felt that Paris was a city best photographed in black and white.
And I must admit that my favorite way to experience Paris was to sit in the Jardin du Lux, eating a crepe Nutella, watching the children play by the fountain or a man feeding the tiny little birds pieces of his croissant.
Other highlights - the Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, Fauchon in the Place Madeleine, getting lost in the Marais. Eating an eclair in St. Germain du Pres, or strolling the streets of Montmartre.

Best Way To Get Around:
In spring, there's no better way to get around than to walk. Paris is a city created for walking! In the winter or the rain, the Metro is a wonderful option, too.
