There are two main attractions in Pamukkale. One the white limestone cliffs that defies belief. As you walk up the cliffs created from the run off of the hot springs you can’t help but be in awe of the sight. Secondly the bath at the top of the cliffs, built on top of the original Roman Baths. We spent an afternoon soaking in the baths, where we could actual sit on top of the ruins from the original bath. The water was like swimming in warm Perrier water. Quick Tips: Avoid the recommended hotels in the travel guides, as they are over-booked and over run with people. At night keep an eye out for the locals spraying DDT to kill insects in the area.
