A September 2004 trip to Bay St. Louis by Amber Autumn
Quote: Bay St. Louis is a seaside town with southern charm. It has antebellum and interestingly-built homes, amazing casinos where the slots are hot, a cool waterpark, and restaurants. There's also a ledge and beach where you can sit and enjoy the sunset.

Attraction | "Slide Into Some Fun at the Silver Slipper"
The Silver Slipper is one of the most interesting casinos located on the beach in Bay St. Louis. Bright lights from the video gaming machines and the sounds of hitting the jackpots fill the second-floor game room. In addition to the slot machines, there's also tables where you can play Texas Hold 'Em, poker, roulette, and other table games. When you get hungry, you can choose from the Jubilee Buffet that costs about $19.95 ($2 off if you have the casino's players' card), the deli-style cafe with tasty desserts like ice cream, cakes, and cookies at the Palm Court Cafe, and if you really want to be a big spender, there's the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The casino offers seasonal promotions and invites you to take part in live music from their stage bar, and witness an Elvis look-alike contest. The casino offers free parking in its convenient parking garage. Also, if you have minors under the age of 21, you can eat at the buffet and later enjoy a day at the beach.
