We rented a private family home with a pool, which was absolutely great. It truly was a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The beach and sunsets are amazing, and the food is excellent. We are looking forward to the next trip back!

The best thing to do is relax and take in all the beauty. Our most memorable moment was watching the sunset one evening and seeing two manta rays swim along. After the sunset, we watched the dolphins - just amazing!

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

We enjoyed walking to many restaurants in the area. You can drive about 20 minutes to reach about anything on Captiva.

This is a two-bedroom home with a lit heated pool. We very much enjoyed the casual feel of this beach home. We were about a 2-minute walk from the beach.

This is a must for the children, although I must say that I liked it, too! I can best describe it as walking into an I Spy children's book. They really enjoyed it and wanted to go back every night.
