This is one of the best - and cheapest - restaurants around the Place Djemaa El Fna. Get there early for a good table with a view of the Place.

You may think that eating on the Place Djemaa El Fna is not for the faint-hearted, but it's an absolute must, and probably the best local cuisine you'll eat in Marrakesh.

Number One is worth searching out and was recommended by "Le Guide du Routard" for 2004. It is definitely one of the best tables on the Place
