Quote: A great city to visit, but unfortunately, Fairfield Nashville is not such a great place for ordinary RCI members to stay. Many buildings are in need of updates. Only Gold or Platinum members get the nicest units, and you will learn about this with the sales pitch.
Best Things Nearby:Opry Mills Mall, Grand Ole Opry, Opry Land Hotel, Downtown Nashville, Country Music Hall of Fame, Loretta Lynn's ranch is about 1½ hour drive.Best Things About the Resort:Close to Grand Ole Opry and Opry Land Hotel.Resort Experience:Most of the buildings/units seemed to be in need of some updating. The first unit I was assigned was terrible. I had complained at check in because the unit wasn't ready at 4pm and evidently made the lady (Paula) behind the desk mad. Grand Ole Opry


Great! If you only do only one activity while in Nashville, do not leave without seeing the Grand Ole Opry. The night I visited, they were broadcasting the show to the troops in Iraq.
