September in Las Vegas

A September 2005 trip to Las Vegas by crookl

Quote: Las Vegas is scorching hot in September. We went to Valley of Fire State Park, and then had to cool off at Mount Charleton the next day. We went indoor skydiving as well. We took the Hoover Dam tour, and I wished I'd be here when they still had the hard-hat tour.

Attraction | "Improv Comedy Show"

This show is similar to the "Whose Line is it, anyway?" TV show. The comedy bits are very unpredictable. They had the four of us rolling in the aisles. We each had a different favorite skit. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for kids. You can typically find a two-for-one coupon in the Vegas visitor’s coupon books. They perform in other cities as well. See

Indoor skydiving

I tried indoor skydiving before I went for the real thing. It was so much fun. It's much safer, and the price is very reasonable. The room is padded with crash mat material. For more info, see
