Springtime in Longboat Key

A March 2005 trip to Longboat Key by patstravels

This is a beautiful resort with every amenity you need or want. Traffic can be heavy, but as long as you get across the bridge, St. Armand's Circle is your shopping mecca.

Best Things About the Resort:
There are only 15 units, so you can always get a chair by the pool!

Resort Experience:
I can certainly understand why this is a Gold Crown resort. It's huge and is extremely clean and well-kept. Each car has its own parking space. They provide beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas to take to the beach. There are also bikes to ride along the roads. My husband and dad went golfing, so my mother and I took the bus to St. Armand's. It picks you up right across the street from the unit. Because of traffic, it's not very reliable, but we only had to wait 10 minutes to get it. The room has a patio overlooking the pool, and there's another smaller patio by the kitchen. There is a shopping center within walking distance that has a food store and some other lovely shops. You'll have a great time here and want to return!
