There are so many activites and sights to see. One week is just not enough. If you just want to relax by the lake or go boating and fishing (boat rentals and fishing gear is available to rent at the resort), this is the place for you. There are many activities throughout the day at the resort for kids, so there is no chance of them being bored! The large indoor pool and Jacuzzi are exceptional if lake swimming is not for you.

Quick Tips:

There are many things to do, so I recommend stopping in at the Chamber of Commerce for a travel guide for the area. A lot of interesting day trips can be overlooked without it. While you're there, stop in and see the Maritime Museum; it is part of the Chamber of Commerce.

Best Way To Get Around:

A car is a definite must. No buses, etc. There is main parking near the shopping district. This is recommended because it is very busy during summer months, and there is no way you can walk from the resort.

Best Things Nearby:
If shopping is for you, this is the place to go for those quaint little stores. If boating or fishing is up your alley, then this area is a definite must. For the hikers, there are so many state parks to choose from within a few miles of the resort.

Best Things About the Resort:
There are so many activities for the kids and well-manicured grounds and well-kept accommodations. It is very quiet and relaxing.

This place has a very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. It is a great place to visit more than once and year after year. It is a definite tourist spot due to all the activities, not to mention the exceptional fishing on the huge lake!
