Orlando, Florida, is my favorite vacation spot. These are my reviews of every place we go in Orlando.

Bahama Breeze

Bahama Breeze, Orlando is just a short hop from Downtown Disney on International Drive.

There is a large open-air, covered patio/tiki bar area where you can wait for your table around large fire pits. The menu has some great Caribbean choices, and the atmosphere is festive and lively. It is a great place for the young, hip, and hungry to enjoy the warm Orlando evenings.

Raglan Road™ Irish Pub and Restaurant

What a beautiful , comfortable new restaurant/pub. Raglan Road is Disney's newest restaurant. It opens for a late lunch, around 3pm I think, and stays open late, as does Pleasure Island.

Disney description of the restaurant :

"Feel the luck of the Irish at this authentic pub and restaurant with jovial charm, homey atmosphere and cheerful service. There is always reason to celebrate at this jolly watering hole, with four elaborate bars, traditional dancing and storytelling, and live Irish music that kicks the party into high gear (around 8:30pm). Gastronomic delights feature traditional Irish fare with a modern twist."

Disney's TIPS & FUN FACTS:
Pick up some pub grub to go at Cooke's of Dublin, the convenient carry-out restaurant within Raglan Road™
They serve your traditional Fish N' Chips.
There are a few seats here also.

You don't need to purchase Pleasure Island admission to enjoy Raglan Road™. Entrance is free of charge.

The restaurant was practically empty when we went at 4pm. There appeared to be some outside seating as well as plenty inside.
We went for a snack and a pint.
We tried the fried sausages (kinda like ConeyBangers instead of Coneydogs) with a spicy dipping sauce. The way they serve them was a hoot! About 6 of them stuck on the ends of small forks, like a bouquet, and 6 more in a dish. Great to share.

I ordered:
Smokie City
Oven baked layers of smoked cod with mature Wexford cheddar and double cream. Served with crusty bread. It’s OK to inhale this one $11.
It's kinda like a fish chowder with a very cheesy broth.

I plan on going back to try more of their fare, I love to try new dishes. Next time I will go for the music at night.

Al Capone's Dinner Theatre

Capone's dinner theater in Kissimmee is an inexpensive evening out if you visit their website and print out a discount coupon. We went on Thanksgiving evening. The buffet had turkey and stuffing as well as the usual Italian vegy-lasagna, macaroni, and spaghetti with meatballs. Very average, but sufficient. We also were served free sangria, rum punch, or beer. We had to wait outside until the doors opened since we didn't want to order cocktails in the lounge. We sat in our car to avoid standing and being eaten by mosquitoes. Once you check-in they assign you a table, so no need to really go stand in the line. The show was average, some might find it a bit slow and boring. No real memorable show tunes. But, for $20 it is an inexpensive way to relax and be fed and entertained while on vacation. Very casual, come as you are atmosphere.
