After finishing high school I went by myself to live in Colorado for one year. I traveled around the state, seeing Steamboat Springs, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Vail... but also traveled outside of Colorado to Missouri and South Dakota. It was a year I will never forget!

Overview

Climbing, walking, and doing any outdoor activities in general is ideal for Colorado! Skiing, tennis, soccer... you name it!

Visit the water park Elitch Gardens, the zoo, or the big amusement park in Denver. Drive a couple of hours south of Denver to Colorado Springs and visit the US Air Force Academy. Cool!

There is wonderful downhill skiing! I think this is one of the best places to ski in Colorado and even the States!! I went here about five times during my year in Fort Collins, Colorado. Go there and have a blast!

Attraction | "Sullivan's"

This is a bar where they have pool tables, darts, good snacks, and a very friendly staff! We used to go here every Thursday and meet people from all over the world who either worked or studied in Fort Collins. It was the international day of the week, but of course, all Americans were welcome too!
