A January 2003 trip to Seville by emilyw

I spent 3 months living and studying in Seville, and it was the best time of my life.

Immerse yourself in Southern Spain... go to a flamenco show, see a bull fight, eat olives and chorizo for dinner, get a Cruzcampo and tapas in the afternoon, and go to the best hole-in-the-wall in Seville: Carboneria.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

On foot--there is so much character in the streets and buildings. Walking is not difficult in this city if you have a map. If not, taxis are the next best thing--inexpensive and readily available. Buses are also very good once you figure out the routes, but can get crowded on rainy days.

Rayas is the best ice cream place in Seville. Tons of flavors, and Nata de Bosques is my personal favorite. Outdoor seating is wonderful... great place to people-watch.
