Tampa Weekend

Beautifully appointed rooms. Views were awesome of the city lights over the Bay. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms gave great lighting during the day and lit up the room with moonlight in the night. The bed was VERY comfortable, and the wet bar gave the room a little extra. The room was extremely quiet for how busy the hotel was on that particular weekend.

The breakfast buffet each morning was fantastic, with everything one could want. The fruit was amazingly fresh, as were the muffins and pastries. The oj was fresh-squeezed. Delicious.

For a quick lunch, the group decided on the lobby bar downstairs. It was quiet, comfortable, and cheap. The Cuban sandwich was awesome, as was the asparagus we selected as the side. The servers were very accommodating to our wishes for food preferences. French fries were great too.

My friends had the hamburger and the club, both the second around for them. They had eaten there the day before and loved it so much. The second round was just as impressive as the first for them.

Overall, it's a great lobby bar with great service and good, satisfying food. It doesn't hurt that they will give you the TV remote and let you watch what you want.
