Hawaii is great!

I had a partial ocean view room in Rainbow Tower that was great. It looked out over their lagoon and was a great sunset view of the ocean. The grounds were well-kept, and they had some shows several times.

The Wailana Coffee House was a great stop in the morning. Their breakfasts were really good for a very cheap price. They also have karaoke and $2.50 Mai Tais in the lounge. If you are in the vicinity, I'd check it out.

Overall, Cheeseburger Waikiki was pretty good. The band was great and the food was good, but the bartender was stingy with alcohol in the mai tais and pina coladas. Unless you go after 8:30pm or so, make sure you have 45 minutes to wait for a table.

Snorkeling at Hanauma Bay was great. There were a lot of types of fish, and a large turtle swam out from the coral right under us.

It's a lot different seeing the real thing than watching The History Channel. Being at the actual site of the attack leaves you with a much larger sense of respect for those who gave their lives for the US.
