Oceanside unit was horrendous. Previous journals have called the units "worn" but I relied on it's Gold Crown rating when I booked. It goes beyond worn with holes and tears in the bedding, rust in the bathrooms, no shower in the master bath so four of us were waiting to shower in the second bath. The front door was so ill-fitting that the wind screamed through it so loudly that we had to leave on the windy days. Would never ever go back to these accommodations. Ocean was beautiful, but not enough to make up for everything. There was one person doing check-in so you can imagine how long it took. It reminded me of a 1960s motel. We were so disappointed as we met our son there who was just back from Kuwait and whom we hadn't seen for a year. An extremely disappointing experience for us all. I'm going to have a hard time using the "Gold Crown" to signify anything at all. These ocean-side units should have been at the 30,000 point level, not the nearly 90,000 that they were.
