This trip to Paradisus in the Dominican Republic was a bonus trip with my husband's top producers of their company. The trip was a great location, and I would love to go back. It had all you wanted right there at the resort.

The room had two full-size beds, and then it stepped down into a living room. This area had a couch, love seat, and a large desk. The bathroom itself was kind of small, but there was a large sink just outside the bathroom and a closet with drawers. We do not spend much time in the room on vacation without the kids, so it was plenty big for us.

Best Things Nearby:
Shopping at the Plaza de Bavaro, horseback riding, off-road tours, boat tours

Best Things About the Resort:
Many watersports and activities, great food, beach

Resort Experience:
The resort is fairly large, but the layout allows you to feel that you are in a smaller resort. The beach is beautiful, and the sand is so soft. The pool is large, but it's spread out, so it has many private spots if you do not want to be part of the crowd. There were many restuarants, and each was better than the next. The rooms were quite spacious. They also offer spa treatments for an additional cost.

I was a little hesitant, since I do not like spicy food, but all the entrees were terrific. It was just the right amount of food. This resort is an all-inclusive, so there is no price for food in any of the restaurants. There were many types of resturants at the resort. Each was better than the last. We ate at the Mexican, Italian, Japanese, and Romantic (only one that had a formal dress code and needed reservations). The buffets for breakfast and lunch were very good, as well.
