I live in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, about 15 minutes away from Valley Forge State Park. Philly (as we call it) can be a great city, with shopping, nightlife, restaurants, etc.

Le Mas Perrier

Restaurant

Le Mas Perrier

Although I recently heard La Mas changed its name (La Mas means "farmhouse" in French), I would recommend this restaurant if you want a very nice but pricey night in Wayne. The food is excellent, as is the service. And the decor is beautiful as well.

One other way you can taste the quality, but not get gouged by the prices, is to have some drinks and appetizers in the bar area.

Reading Terminal Market

If you are anywhere near the convention center, the Reading Terminal Market is a great place to stop for a lunch on the go. The scents alone make it worth the walk through the market. You can get all types of food here: Greek, cheesesteaks, Chinese, Bassetts ice cream, sandwiches, etc. And there are plenty of other vendors. You can buy a pound of coffee or cheese or seafood or... you get the point.
