Although the conditions and weather were not cooperative, we had an awesome trip relaxing and spending time in the village

I loved the 7th Heaven run. Even if the weather is nasty in the village, there is a chance it's nice up in this area of the mountain!

Quick Tips:

Discount lift tickets are available directly after the US border in a little gift shop on the side of the road.

Best Way To Get Around:

I've only driven up from Oregon, which is a long drive, 9 hours. In Whistler, this last time we stayed up on the mountain near Whiski Jack at Woodrun and used the public transportation (buses). This worked out great. The buses run very regularly and have stops all over town. I'm looking forward to flying next time.

Longhorn Saloon

This place is very busy and loud, so if you like that kind of stuff, this is the place to be. Their is always something going on, like a movie of some sort. They have great specials on drinks every day of the week. I suggest the "Prairie Fire" or "Duck Fart". YUMMY! They also have three pool tables, two dart boards, and some video games. This is a great place for a drink after a long day on the mountain. The waitresses are good looking, for all you single men, and the bartenders know what they are doing.

This place can be busy and noisy at times, but there is a nice gas fireplace towards the back of the restaurant. This area of the restaurant is tucked back away from the noise and cozy next to the fireplace. We didn't eat here, but the drinks are pretty good. They have a couple of bars and a couple of pool tables. The only thing I didn't like is that you had to check your coat at the door.

HUGE! There is so much area, it seems you could never explore it all, even on a 2-week vacation. You really would have to live there to be able to ride all the terrain. I do love 7th Heaven, but I'm looking forward to riding in the Flute Bowl and Spanky's Ladder. This year the conditions were awful, so these areas were not open. Every year I've been there (for 3 years), they've only had a small portion of the mountain open due to the lack of snow, but there's always been plenty of terrain and area to ride.
