A November 2004 trip to Taupo by Koromiko

Best Things Nearby:The lake with walking tracks. The ski resort on Mt. Raupehu, Whakapapa ski resort.Best Things About the Resort:Central to all other destinations visited.Resort Experience:Beautiful, small, and friendly. Comfortable and close to the city. The rooms are spacious and warm, with a private spa room. The studio has an individual kitchen with oven, toaster, and microwave. The view of the lake is taken from the balcony, and the lake is just across the road. An individual car park is out the back of your unit. There is a trampoline and mini golf on the front grounds.
