La Manzana de la Discordia

La Manzana de la Discordia is a block of buildings (three of them) that belong to different architectural styles. These houses are Casa Amattler, designed by Puig I Cadafalc and built in 1898; Casa Battlo, a creation of Gaudì, built between 1904 and 1906; and Casa Lle'o Moreira, designed by Lluis Domenech I Montaner and built between 1902 and 1906.

Casa Mila (or La Pedrera)

This huge palace is another masterpiece by Gaudì. It was built between 1906 and 1912. Its name, "La Pedrera", means the stone quarry. Casa Milà looks like a grey petrified wave. Its rooftop has many chimneys that seem like giant warriors.
