Quote: I live in Thailand and often visit the Similan Islands. The diving persuaded me stay after many years of travel. The reefs are great, and the volume of marine life is amazing. I turned down a job in the Maldives to stay here.

A liveaboard is the best way to experience the Similan islands and the dive sites further north (Koh Bon, Koh Tachai, and Richelieu Rock). Liveaboard diving is all about diving, eating, and sleeping. You get to go to the best dive sites, relax onboard, and walk on a couple of the islands. You always get a good mix of people on the boat. Short trips are possible, and most are 4 to 5 days.
