A January 2005 trip to Myrtle Beach by Everts

Quote: We had better weather than last week in Tennessee. There are golf courses all over, and prices are reasonable at this time of year. We stayed at Sheraton Broadway Plantation--very nice accommodations and a very large pool area. It's a great place for kids.

Golf, golf, golf. There are great packages at this time of year. Courses are a little brown, but not bad. Some days were chilly to start but warmed up nicely. There are many restaurants, shops, and places to just relax by the pool. The Carolina Opry was great. Quick Tips: The resort offered much information about the area and attractions. We went to the Aquarium at Broadway at the Beach and then discovered we could have gotten a discount with a coupon from the state welcome center when we crossed the state line.
