This is the kind of food Grandma makes! The restaurant is open for all three meals and has a Southern flair. They serve real mash potatoes as well as Virginia ham steaks, fried catfish, corn pudding, and turnip greens. It’s Southern cooking the way it was meant to be! The cooking is so popular, they also offer frozen dinners to go! Don't forget the pie; it is made on the premise!

From its kitchens to the children's room, the servants' room to the dining room, the home is decorated with period furnishings and some of the Wilsons' actual household belongings. Self-guided and interpretative tours are available.

The home also has an adjacent museum with exhibits that present the life and public service of Woodrow Wilson through historic photographs, documents, and objects.

The gardens were designed and planted in 1933. The gardens include two terraces, the lower one featuring boxwood-lined bowknot beds.
