Luxor Las Vegas

Hotel | "Luxor"

To stay at this hotel is truly a unique experience. When you walk in the front door, you feel like you have just walked into Egypt. There are statues everywhere, and there was that sand color. The breakfast buffet is a good price for what you get. When you go, eat a lot so you can skip lunch. Whether you stay here or some where else, I suggest you come here and see the Blue Man Group. That show plays tricks on your eyes, and you’re always wondering what they are going to do next to amaze you. One great thing about this hotel is that it is connected to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur. I didn’t even have to go outside and fight traffic to get there. Here’s a bit of advice: Ask for a room by the el...Read More

MGM Grand

Hotel

This hotel was great. We got there early and they had a room on the bottom floor available, so we took it. This hall of rooms is the newest addition to the MGM Grand. We were only a short walk away from the casino and the other attractions. The Rainforest Cafe is cool. Every hour of so there is a thunder storm and the animals come alive. Our room had very modern touches. There was a TV in the mirror in the bathroom. The furniture reminded me of the Jestens. The bed was like a Westin Heavenly Bed. I had really good rates for this hotel. It can't get better than $89 a night. The rates for this hotel are normally higher. The only thing I did not like was that the room was small, but with all th...Read More

Harrahs Las Vegas

Hotel | "Harrah's Las Vegas"

This hotel is more of a budget to moderate-priced hotel. There was nothing special about the room, and you could really see the age of the property. The service at this hotel, however, was excellent, and the breakfast buffet is a must. All in all, I would recommend this hotel, but I probably will not stay there again, unless I get the same rates. I got a special offer in the mail. The best thing about the hotel is the smiling faces who work there. They know how to make you feel welcome. I would recommend this hotel for people on a tight budget, rate permitting. If you pay more than $90 per night, you are paying too much. If you're a high-roller, stay somewhere else, as you wouldn't like it....Read More

Alize at the Top of the Palms

Restaurant | "Alize"

This was the most memorable experience I've ever had at a restaurant. It is located on the top floor of The Palms Hotel and Casino and is surrounded by windows. The view was incredible. I got to watch sun set over the mountains. The service was unlike anything. Every time I took a sip of my water, the waiter was there to fill it up. I went with my boyfriend, and it made for a nice romantic dinner. Our bill was $300, but it was well worth it. The food was cooked to perfection. I had lamb and my boyfriend had the salmon. For desert we had soufflés. They took a long time to make them, so the chef gave us some homemade candy that was to die for. Three-hundred dollars was a good price (for this mi...Read More

Cirque Du Soleil: Zumanity

Attraction | "Zumanity (The Show)"

Quote:
This show was excellent. I am sure a lot of guys would not like it because there is a lot of sexuality in this show, and there is one scene where there is some guy-on-guy action. I must say, that is something that I would have never liked; however, in the context of this show, I thought it was sexy. My boyfriend didn't mind it so much. This show does include a lot of audience interaction, so if you sit on the lower level, be prepared for that. It's a lot of fun. The hostess of the show is a drag queen and a very good show person. This show expands and opens up your mind to your own sexuality, and if you go and watch it with your loved one, I guaruntee you will have a memroble night. This is ...Read More

Las Vegas is so much fun that I don’t know where to start. First of all, if you visit Harrah’s, go to the bar and ask for Rudy. He is the best. I went during Halloween time and Circus Circus had a haunted house. It wasn’t too scary, like I was hoping for, but it still gave me a thrill. The Manhattan Express at New York New York is a crazy ride, and the cars look like taxis, how fitting for New York. If you want to rock all night, I suggest the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino; it was packed with people and fun. Eat at Lucky 7s at the front of the hotel and ask for the 777 steak and shrimp deal. That deal cannot be beat. I enjoyed a walk down the Strip on a nice October day and stopped at just about hal...Read More
